Roll Cage

Roll over protection systems come in all different shapes and sizes. Make sure it has been built to the correct standards set in the MSA Yearbook and complies with the regulations set in your Championship.

Seat

Your Seat must be a FIA approved, display

the correct labelling and must be in date.

Seats that come with side head wings these

are not always a must but highly recommended,

these reduce the sideways movement of the

head in the event of a side impact. Check the

regulations set in your Championship to insure

your seat complies.

Harness

Your Harness must be a FIA approved, display

the correct labeling and must be in date.

You can buy many variations of harnesses but

they will need be Frontal Head

Restraint friendly and either 4, 5 or 6 point.

Check the regulations set in your championship to

insure you have the correct amount of securing points.

It is always highly recommended to have as many points as possible!

Fire Extinguisher 

Your Fire Extinguisher must be a FIA approved, display

the correct labeling and must be in date.

It is always advisable to check the regulations

set in your Championship and the MSA Yearbook

to insure you have the correct type and nozzle

arrangement. Generally you must have two

extinguisher nozzles, one pointing at your legs

the other at the fuel rail in the engine bay.

You must have two triggers, one in accessible

reach from the drivers position the other generally

below the windscreen for people aiding you to pull if necessary. 

You must also have the correct labeling to ensure everyone

knows this is your Fire Extinguisher.

Electrical Isolator

It is always advisable to check the regulations

set in your championship and the MSA Yearbook, insure

you have the correct Electrical Isolator and the

correct amount of isolator levers and positioning's.

Generally you have two, one in accessible

reach from the drivers position the other

generally below the windscreen for

people aiding you to turn off if necessary.

You must also have the correct labeling

to ensure everyone knows this is your Electrical Isolator.

Tow Straps

It is always advisable to check the regulations

set in your Championship and the MSA Yearbook

to insure you have the correct type, amount and

positioning of your Tow Straps.

Generally two to four these must be FIA approved.

You must also have visible labeling to ensure

people know the location of your Tow Straps.
